Arthur's son Llacheu is noted as one of the "The three men of substance of the Island of Britain" in the triads* and as one of Arthur's knights in "The Dream of Rhonabwy" (English Translation). He fights and dies with Cai in the poem Pa Gwr? (English Translation). and his death is mentioned in the poem "The Dialogue of Gwyn ap Nudd and Gwyddno Garahir" (English Translation). The 13th C. poet Bleddyn Fardd gives the location of his death as Llech Ysgar* ("Plain of the parting"?), wherever that might be.
